Scott C. NobleScott Noble has loved the medium of photography his entire life. Perhaps this is because he grew up in the “Kodak City” of Rochester New York, surrounded by the geniuses that developed the first consumer-accessible film cameras, Polaroid’s instant photography, and Xerox’x first high speed photocopiers! Or maybe it was because of his passion for the beauty of nature in all of its seasonal glory, and a desire to capture it for more than just a fleeting moment.The medium of digital photography has enabled him to take his life-long use of photography to another level. He optimizes the use of new camera technology to capture the fleeting images of the beautiful landscapes around his home in Stowe, Vermont; those that represent the very best landscape scenes and seasonal moods of the place. He then uses the “digital darkroom” availble through Adobe’s Creative Suite to enhance the images just enough to create a perfect image, without altering it so much as to inhibit the viewer's appreciation of the natural beauty of the setting. Scott Noble has studied photography at the Maine Media Workshops. He is co-owner of Green Mountain Fine Art Gallery with his wife, Sandra Noble. He does all the gallery’s photography work, including giclee image capture, website photos, advertising photography, and copy preparation. |
